Teenage Cancer Risk Steady despite Bask

SOME survey results indicate sunbathing and tanning remains a trend among teenagers even though they are aware of the risks of cancer.

As quoted from Web MD (2 / 3), the trend is increasingly in demand tanned skin. No doubt, many young women in America and Europe who like sunbathing on the beach or tanning for their skin appear darker. In fact, if they are not limited to, exposure to excessive ultraviolet rays can cause skin cancer.

American Academy of Dermatology held a poll of about 3800 white teen daughter between the ages of 14 and 22 years. As a result, thousands of girls carrying a lot trying to get more tan skin by constantly being in the sun or switch to a tanning booth or do both.

Here are some findings from the survey:

1. As many as 32 ​​percent of respondents had used tanning facilities in the past year. Even a quarter do tanning at least once a week.

3. As many as 42 percent of those who commit tanning indoors are more concerned about wrinkles than sun.
4. As many as 65.5 percent of respondents thought they would look more attractive with brown skin. As many as 87.3 percent of teens who do tanning think alike.
5. Girls who have tanning most admitted they do that by following each step mother.
